The following services are included free of charge as part of the Belassi customer experience

Whats is included in the Complimentary Support?
This type of free support is included for all customers who purchase one of our Marine Engines. The support includes simple services like checking how the customer’s planned project might work with the Belassi MPU. If the part or idea could be useful to other customers, Belassi will design and develop it at no cost. Belassi also looks at the customer’s project and gives feedback on whether it is a good match for the MPU. Meetings to discuss how to fit the MPU into the customer’s project are also free, but these meetings must be arranged in advance with the right departments, like technical or sales. Customers also get customized lists of parts (BOMs) needed for their project at no cost, ensuring they get the right equipment for their needs. Belassi provides 3D design files (CAD) and technical details about the MPU and its parts for free, but customers must first sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).

Whats is included in the Paid Support?
Belassi offers a range of paid support services for customers with specialized or advanced requirements. If a customer requests parts that are exclusively for their own use and not made publicly available, these will be charged at Belassi’s design engineering hourly rate. Tasks that involve project management or require Belassi’s engineering expertise are billed at the project engineering hourly rate. For customer-specific components that need unique manufacturing tools, tooling costs will be evaluated and discussed on a case-by-case basis. If parts are designed to be made publicly available, the investment costs may be shared between Belassi and the customer.
Before starting any paid work, Belassi provides a detailed proposal outlining the scope of the project, timelines, and associated costs. This ensures a clear and transparent process, tailored to meet the customer’s specific needs while maintaining a professional collaboration. For any of Complimentary Support
- Submit a support request via email or the website
- Provide project details, including application description and intended use of the Belassi MPU
- Schedule any necessary meetings with the required departments
For the Paid Support
- Submit a detailed scope of work for review via email or website
- Belassi will provide a cost estimate, including hourly rates and any additional fees (e.g., travel or tooling)
- Approval of the estimate is required before work begins
