REDEFINING EFFICIENCY AND EMISSION REDUCTION
Currently no other manufacture of lightweight Marine Power Units supplies a turbocharged engine, we want to be the first in this space and want to exploit its strengths. The turbo allows for the ability to generate increased manifold pressures without the losses which are incurred by the supercharger, thus the Belassi MPU should have a better fuel consumption in the areas of critical usage (5000 rpm+). Turbochargers also allow for controlled increase of boost pressures which are not coupled to the engine rpm, as they are in the supercharged applications, thus we can offer a higher peak power whilst still adhering to the certification boundaries.
